Our mythical ITINERARY
Important Notes:
We will be guided throughout this pilgrimage by the seven stages of Alchemy as well as the messages from our guides, the vibrational frequency & inspirations of our group, and the sacred instructions from the Cosmos. The following itinerary reflects our intentions and recommendations, and we may decide to modify it as we go, based on what the group needs as well as what is coming through in the moment.
If you know you’ll need extra space to adjust to the time difference (Greece is 7 hours ahead of New York), please arrive a few days early so that you can be fully rested and ready to begin on September 9th. You may wish to visit the Parthenon during your initial days in Greece.
If you’d like to drive while in Greece, please be sure to obtain your International Driver’s License right away. This is a requirement in order to rent a car and drive in Greece.
Also please be sure your passport is updated and that it will be valid for at least 6 months beyond September 2021.
Day 1 - September 9th

day 2 - September 10th
The Temple of Eleusis
Learn the history of this ancient Mystery School site where initiates would drink the kykeon, travel into the underworld with Demeter and Persephone, and emerge enlivened and no longer bound by a fear of death
Together we will proclaim the sacred YES, enter the ritual space, and ask the ancient spirits to reveal their secrets to us
Discover the Cross Cultural Historical use and current use of Entheogens and Plant Medicines to awaken divine consciousness
We will work in ritual with the alchemical stage of Calcination to burn away our egos so we can release into the light-filled Oneness of death and the Great Beyond
Teachings on Death and Death Preparation from the Greek Stoic Philosophers as well as other spiritual traditions
We will reflect in sacred circle on the transformations already manifesting within each of you on the deepest levels
We will work with the Alchemical Stage of Calcination and the Root Chakra
Day 3 - september 11th
The Oracle of Delphi
Learn about the Pythia and the Bee Priestesses, the God Apollo, and their role in oracular divination
Connect with the potent energies of this ancient pilgrimage location
Activate the prophetess part of yourself through guided shamanic journeying at the site of the Oracle of Delphi
Through the alchemical stage of Dissolution, we will invite the venom of the serpent to wash through our veins, to cleanse & purify so that our visionary powers will be activated
Empower the Dark Goddess to emerge from within you & assist you in releasing old parts of yourself that have weighed you down for far too long
Enjoy sacred writing, journaling, and poetry prompts at the sacred site

Gather for a workshop where we’ll open sacred ritual space for you to connect with your heart & set your intentions for awakening your Cosmic Self
You’ll be introduced to a Dream Incubation Practice to prepare us to meet Asclepius the next day in Epidaurus
Engage in an empowering, free-flowing Dance & Mythical Embodiment experience
Day 5 - September 13th
Epidauros, the Ancient Dream Healing Center
Visit the largest amphitheater of the ancient Hellenistic world still giving theatrical performances today
For over 1500 years all over the Mediteranean World, pilgrims came to Epidauros and other Asklpeion for mental, physical, emotional and spriitual healing. Walk in their footsteps into the holy ground and vibrant ruins of the first hospitals and healing sanctuaries—the Asklepion.
Exploration and invocation of Serpent Medicine and the Shamans Healing Journey through the Caduceus embodiment
Discover the Mythos and Astrological Asteroids of Healing including god Asclepius, his daughters Panacea, Hygeia and others
We will return to our Dream Incubation Practice for shared dream re-entry and deepening into the messages arriving from the Dreamtime
We will work with the Alchemical Stage of Dissolution and the Sacral Chakra
Day 6 - september 14th
Fly from Athens to Heraklion, Crete
Arrive on the magical island of Crete
Transportation from Heraklion to the beautiful Om Shanti Yoga & Healing Center which will be our home for the next week
We’ll celebrate together with a nourishing, Ayurvedic dinner amidst serene surroundings
Enjoy the harmonizing and healing energy of the land here, surrounded by peaceful mountains and beautiful views of the Libyan Sea
We will work with the Alchemical Stage of Separation and the Solar Plexus Chakra
For Our Time On the Magical Island of Crete
Sail back with us to the place where the goddess, in her Neolithic, Earth Mother / Dark Goddess potency, was upheld in her sovereignty longer than any of the surrounding areas.
This will be a time of deep remember-ance — For you to recall your past lives in the ancient Goddess cultures — To connect with the harmonizing, balancing energies of this sacred land — And for you to enter into the divine wholeness of your Cosmic Self as you receive relevations and transmissions about the fullness, the vastness of who you TRULY are.
Each day we’ll have daily practices of Divine Remembrance and Somatic Therapy, as well as a daily selection of healing Meditation, Journaling, Yoga, Qi Gong and Dance.
We will continue to share our dreams, signs, and synchronicities and embrace both the personal and the collective messages coming through to our group.
Some of our days on Crete will include excursions to the ancient and holy monasteries, mountains, sanctuaries, and temples nearby, as well as to the ancient ruins of Knossos, the center of Minoan culture.
Through Archetypal Embodiment, we will Dance, Dramatize, and Awaken the goddesses and gods, the myths and memories.
We will also get out into nature and PLAY! in the nearby waterfalls and pristine beaches of Southern Crete.
Day 7 - September 15th
The Divine Reflection: Cacao Ceremony followed by Heart-Opening Lifestyle Design and Tantric Puja
We’ll begin the day with a beautiful Cacao ceremony & heart-opening ritual
Enjoy powerful workshops from Jocelyn and VerDarLuz that will guide you to integrate and celebrate the insights you’ve received so far in the retreat, and discern the sacred instructions that have arrived
We’ll then guide you to open your heart to the next level of your growth & expansion in this lifetime — Giving you full permission to embrace the rebellious, the revolutionary, the unvoiced aspects of yourself that are longing to be set free
In a Tantric Puja, you will experience your oneness & bond with your other tribe members via fun & engaging practices with one another
We will work with the Alchemical Stage of Conjunction and the Heart Chakra
In the evening: Sunset hike and Qi Gong at the mountaintop Church for a stunning view over the Libyan sea where we can breathe in the Asteroussa mountains (which are translated as “the essence of the stars”)

You will be guided to examine your Identity in this lifetime — What part of it is true and what parts have been illusions? We welcome you to our retreat place which is located in a small mountain village called Amiras (around 550 meters high) at the south coast of Crete, the Island of Light …
After living on Crete since 1986, Anja was drawn to this particular area which is surrounded by the quietness of the mountains. The vastness of the Libyan Sea can be viewed from the front of the house. The energy here is so pure, amazing and therefore perfect for yoga retreats, holidays, Satsang or opening spaces for personal transformation. Perhaps some questions about yourself and life will be answered through the stillness of the place and the harmonic energy.
Very near the retreat center, you can hike in one of the only pine forests in Crete or relax on one of the most beautiful beaches of Crete, all about 20 minutes away. The drive to get to the beach is through pure nature. It’s easy to travel from here to Minoan temples, as well as gorges in the area. Here, it is still like Crete many years ago, with empty beaches and nice places to visit. There are also some small villages nearby for shopping, dining, etc and beautiful taverns located along the seafront. Sunbeds and umbrellas are still provided for free in most places.
You can relax here. Let your soul pause, and come back into harmony with who you really are. The land here radiates a harmonizing and healing energy that our souls long for during this hectic time.
Om Shanti Yoga & Healing Center in Crete is located 60 km from Heraklion airport. You can come by bus, or we can transfer you to our center, or arrange a car for rent. We can’t wait to see you.
